Summary:

We have an excellent opportunity for an entry-level individual to join our team in the position of Account Coordinator.  Working with our North Central Region office, this person will be responsible for assisting in the daily management of the office and providing broad support across all facets of the business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assigned regional and Local Marketing Association (LMA) duties, varies weekly
  • Client and competitor data “pulls” and data manipulation
  • Secure client approval of media and production EAs (estimates)
  • Maintain central filing system for GM incentive programs, sales, media schedules, commercials, catalogs, product information, EAs, etc.
  • Ongoing exposure to plan development (eventual input to planning process)
  • Heavy tracking of internal reports and metrics
  • Maintain office calendar and arrange meetings
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Trained as a backfill to the Account Executive position, for needed support and individual’s future growth
  • Learn as much as you can about our client’s business!

 

Education:

4-year degree in related field

 

Experience:

0-1 years of agency, marketing or related business experience. A previous related internship and/or temp assignment will be helpful. Media and/or traffic exposure a plus.

 

Required Skills:

Excellent computer and communication skills.  Candidates MUST have proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Account Executive will have many responsibilities and must be willing to adapt to the ever changing client needs and demands. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Manage and be responsible for several internal documents:
    • Client Contact Lists
    • Meeting Calendar
    • Client distribution lists
    • Creative Requests
    • Traffic Instructions
  • Update competitive incentive and product grids for major markets; researching key competitive products by market and outlining details on incentives and product changes
  • Competitive share of voice and market share updates by markets
  • Assist all team members as they complete their day-to-day responsibilities
  • Constantly on the lookout for new opportunities to help LMA dealers and NER clients sell more vehicles

ASSISTANT ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (SERC)

Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an entry-level individual to join our Account Services team in the position of Assistant Account Executive (AAE). The individual will assist with the coordination, executive and communication of advertising activities for the Southeast Region.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Regional Director (RD) and Account Supervisors (AS) in the management of Cadillac Local Marketing Associations (LMA) in the Southeast Region
  • Assist with budget/cash flow management for all SER LMAs
  • Assist with planning enthusiastic, pertinent and persuasive presentations for LMA meetings
  • Assist with development of plans that are clearly driven by LMA goals and objectives
  • Assist with the collection of meeting communication from the LMA dealers for the creative teams
  • Ensure timely delivery of RD & AS projects while helping to manage workload
  • Manage LMA contact information and mailings
  • Monitor creative usage and media reports
  • Manage coordination of agenda/materials for internal meetings
  • Review estimates prior to distributing to Account Supervisor’s and LMAs
  • Coordinate all monthly sales events tagging with traffic department and Account Supervisors
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with Cadillac Southeast Region and Zone GM clients, Cadillac LMA dealers and the Martin Retail Group corporate service office
  • Direct report to Regional Director and the Lead Account Supervisor in the Atlanta Regional Office

 

Qualifications:

Education: 4‐year college degree ‐ Advertising/Marketing degree preferred.

Experience: Some Account Service experience preferred

 

Skills:

Very proficient computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint. Resource and people management skills. Automotive retail (Tier 2) experience a plus but is not a requirement.

  • Analyze monthly movement of the automotive industry, vehicle segments and key competitors using sources like NVCS, POLK, and PIN
  • Attain/maintain a deep and thorough knowledge of the automotive industry, GM business, and product advertising/marketing trends, surveys and studies on buyer behavior and market segmentations
  • Communicate strategic business insights obtained from multiple data sources
  • Create impactful data driven stories that communicate key business findings that intrigue, inspire and cause action

 

Education:

MEDIA PLANNING ASSISTANT

Description

Provides support to a team of Media Planners across all aspects of the group's functions. Will utilize research tools to gather data to develop media recommendations and presentations, collaborate among the team to offer appropriate support for planning assignments and special projects, and assist in the maintenance of media plans and reports.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Access syndicated research tools such as Scarborough, Nielsen, and SQAD to pull demographic data and consumer profiles to help identify specific media vehicles and strategies to best reach a target audience
  • Assist in maintaining flowcharts/plans
  • Assist in maintaining budget updates and spreadsheets
  • Prepare Excel reports and assist with analyzing media planning data
  • Work closely with Planners to help prepare/edit PowerPoint presentations and other details presented to field clients

          

Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree in the area of Advertising or a similar discipline
  • A minimum of 1-2 years in an agency media planning department
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Solid math skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well in a group rather than individual setting
  • Extremely high work ethic
