We have an excellent opportunity for an entry-level individual to join our Account Services team in the position of Assistant Account Executive (AAE). The individual will assist with the coordination, executive and communication of advertising activities for the Southeast Region.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Regional Director (RD) and Account Supervisors (AS) in the management of Buick/GMC Local Marketing Associations (LMA) in the Southeast Region (SER)
  • Support Account Executive on all SER reports
  • Review sales and share data to build LMA presentations
  • Assist with planning enthusiastic, pertinent and persuasive presentations for LMA meetings
  • Assist with development of plans that are clearly driven by LMA goals and objectives
  • Assist with the collection of meeting communication from the LMA dealers for the creative teams
  • Ensure timely delivery of RD & AS projects while helping to manage workload
  • Manage LMA contact information and mailings
  • Monitor creative usage and media reports
  • Coordinate all monthly sales events tagging with traffic department and Account Supervisors
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with Buick/GMC Southeast Region and Zone GM clients, Buick/GMC LMA dealers and the Martin Retail Group corporate service office
  • Direct report to Regional Director and the Lead Account Supervisor in the Atlanta Regional Office

 

Qualifications:

Education: 4‐year college degree ‐ Advertising/Marketing degree preferred

Experience: Some Account Service experience preferred

 

Skills:

Very proficient computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint. Resource and people management skills. Self-starter. Automotive retail (Tier 2) experience a plus but is not a requirement.

The Assistant Account Executive will work as part of the Martin Retail Integration team responsible for driving Buick and GMC business. Primary responsibilities are related to communication objectives and advertising.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the communication needs of both the Buick and GMC clients and Martin Retail field organization
    • Serve as a conduit of information between all five General Motors' regions, sales operations team and marketing clients
  • Manage internal corporate communications supporting General Motor field and dealer audiences

Summary:

We are currently seeking an Assistant Account Executive (AAE) to join our Account Services group.   The individual will work closely with our Field Integration and Regional Field teams to coordinate all elements of broadcast, print and digital advertising for our clients as well as assist with communication efforts and various internal business management functions.  Additionally, the AAE will be called on to provide region-specific information to meet national reporting requests. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as liaison between the regional field team and all departments of the Birmingham service center office, e.g., broadcast, print, and accounting departments
  • Coordinate regional communications and dealer database management
  • Facilitate print projects and scheduling
  • Open and assign a large volume of project numbers to open new production needs
  • Generate cost estimates for various projects and assist with working them through the online approval system
  • Respond to national information requests, such as calculating budget amount used, amount remaining, etc.

 

Education: Bachelors in degree in marketing, advertising, management or related field.

 

Experience:  An internship and/or up to 1 year of experience in an advertising environment is ideal, but not required.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

We have an excellent opportunity for an entry-level individual to join our team in the position of Accounts Payable Clerk. Working with our Finance team, this person will work closely with our Production Business Managers in the company’s high-volume billing area.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create Purchase Orders for all production work
  • Receive vendor invoices and approve for billing
  • Reconcile vendor statements ensuring all invoices are accounted for/resolved
  • Work/communicate with vendors to ensure their billing is complete and accurate
  • Research the cause of payment or approval delays, report additional details as needed
  • Produce Excel reports, use reports for clearing up outstanding/unmatched purchase orders
  • File invoices and other documentation

 

Education:

Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field desired 

 

Experience:

One to two years’ experience in billing, invoice processing, or a similar role

 

Required Skills: 

  • Superior math and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills

MEDIA PLANNING ASSISTANT

Provides support to a team of Media Planners across all aspects of the group's functions. Will utilize research tools to gather data to develop media recommendations and presentations, collaborate among the team to offer appropriate support for planning assignments and special projects, and assist in the maintenance of media plans and reports.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Access syndicated research tools such as Scarborough, Nielsen, and SQAD to pull demographic data and consumer profiles to help identify specific media vehicles and strategies to best reach a target audience
  • Assist in maintaining flowcharts/plans
  • Assist in maintaining budget updates and spreadsheets
  • Prepare Excel reports and assist with analyzing media planning data

We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Senior Media Buyer to join our close-knit team.  The position will work to support the integration of all media for our premier automotive clients and the Martin Retail field organization across the U.S.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Estimating, negotiating and purchasing all media including spot TV, radio, print, outdoor, and digital.
  • Working closely with Account team and client to develop the most successful media strategy possible with the authorized budget.
  • Using basic media tools including Nielsen, Scarborough, Prime Lingo, AdViews, SQAD, and SRDS.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Media Buyer
  • Experience using one of the major buying software systems; Media Ocean experience preferred
  • Ability to deliver quality work in a short turnaround time
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Team-orientation
  • Strong presentation skills
